Brocca

The pitcher featured in the “Ludovica” wallpaper becomes here a decorative art print with a symbolic and strongly ornamental character. Reinterpreted through an abstract lens, the object is articulated by stippled details, ornamental motifs and flowing lines, standing at the center of the composition as a precious emblem, suspended between past heritage and contemporary vision. In the foreground, a violet arch opens the scene—an architectural element that frames the pitcher and introduces the theatrical space. In the background, a texture inspired by the curtains of the imperial apartments of Palazzo Pitti adds depth and suggestion, transforming the surface into a layered stage of planes, backdrops and visual references.
