Via Salvestrina 12

There are places that don’t exist on maps, yet are instantly recognizable. Via Salvestrina 12 is one of them.

Designed by Marika Tardio for MaVoix, this wallpaper does not repeat — it tells a story.
A vast illustrated landscape — 400 cm x 300 cm — where architecture, botany, and fantastic fauna converge to create a silent, dreamlike scenography.
Among watchful mushrooms, allegorical columns, noble birds, and impossible flowers, a mental garden takes shape — a threshold between reality and vision.

The Via Salvestrina 12 design originates from the Florentine palace that bears its name, the symbolic home and birthplace of the MaVoix world.
Here, however, the address transforms into a poetic environment, an oneiric portal, an open-ended narrative.

In the Panna variant, the background becomes light, luminous, and enveloping — a soft, warm white recalling the texture of ancient walls, daylight filtered through thin curtains, fresh plaster on raw paper.
The multicolored subjects — in shades of ochre, blue, burgundy, green, and turquoise — stand out delicately against the neutral base, allowing the composition to breathe in rhythm and balance.
