Oro Antico

Ricamo

Craft tradition holds within itself something magical, almost mythical.
It is made of places, hands, careful repetition, and gestures passed down through time.
It is made of time itself, not just technique.
The Ricamo wallpaper is born from this spirit — bringing ancient knowledge into the present through the exploratory gaze of MaVoix, poised between memory and vision.

Inspired by the art of weaving and decorative embroidery, the surface features a rigorous, modular, and precious composition, recalling the Trappigna technique: a hybrid process where pattern and background were created simultaneously, in a single visual, textile, and symbolic act.
Once reserved for bridal blankets and tapestries, this craftsmanship now lives anew as a modular decorative pattern, elegant and structured.

The result is a wallpaper that speaks of material and gesture, with a visual quality reminiscent of tapestry, fabric, and reinterpreted tradition.
Perfect for sophisticated, narrative interiors, it can replace a headboard, conceal cabinetry, or extend across entire walls to create a refined, immersive total-look effect.

In the Oro Antico version, the design is rendered in brunished gold, with light shadows and graphic reliefs, on a mineral grey background with a textile touch.
The effect is deeply material and luminous, recalling handwoven fabrics, precious threads, and ritual objects.
Light draws the pattern — never flat, always in motion.
